Can I write offline without an account?

Yes. Ink stores your writing on your device, and drafting and searching your notes work offline. You do not need an Ink account. Optional iCloud sync and connected AI providers may need a network connection.

Does Ink support Markdown on iPhone and iPad?

Yes. Write in rich text or Markdown and switch between writing views. Organize documents with projects, tags, wiki links, and backlinks to keep your notes and research connected.

Can I export my writing to PDF, Word, or EPUB?

Ink exports to PDF, DOCX for Microsoft Word, EPUB, HTML, and Markdown. Use these files to share a draft, prepare an ebook, or keep a copy outside the app. For backup and recovery help, visit Ink Writing support.

Is Ink Writing free to download?

Ink Writing is free to download on iPhone and iPad. Optional Ink Pro features are available through in-app purchases. The App Store shows the current pricing for your region.

Does Ink use iCloud or send my writing to AI?

iCloud sync, readable iCloud Drive backups, and AI are optional and off by default. You choose whether to enable them. Read the privacy policy for details about local storage and connected services.

Is Ink available for macOS or Android?

The macOS and Android versions are in development. Ink Writing is available now for iPhone and iPad.
